It always amazes me when I sit down with an idea how I often end up creating something completely different than my vision. When I sat down to make necklaces for Sevigny Studio in Anchorage, Alaska- I had a few ideas sketched out that were not coming together for me. I sat staring at my beads and my eyes kept drifting back to these beautiful brilliant blue glass beads. They look amazing with copper and before long I was forging my copper into this simple pendant. I love the way the hammer mark imperfections in the copper after the pendant was oxidized and buffed.
